Our Professional Services

Comprehensive occupational therapy services designed to support independence, safety, and everyday living.

Functional Capacity Assessments

A functional capacity assessment explores how you manage everyday activities and identifies where additional support may be helpful. Depending on your needs, the assessment may consider:

  • ✓ Personal care
  • ✓ Domestic activities
  • ✓ Mobility and transfers
  • ✓ Communication and cognition
  • ✓ Planning and organisation
  • ✓ Work, study and community participation
  • ✓ Relationships and social participation
  • ✓ Safety, endurance and fatigue
  • ✓ Current formal and informal supports

Following the assessment, we can prepare a clear report outlining findings and recommendations.

Daily Living Skills

We help people develop or regain skills used in everyday routines, such as:

  • ✓ Personal care
  • ✓ Meal preparation
  • ✓ Household tasks
  • ✓ Planning and managing routines
  • ✓ Using transport
  • ✓ Shopping and community access
  • ✓ Managing energy throughout the day
  • ✓ Participating in work, study or leisure

  • Support may involve practising skills, adapting a task, changing the environment or introducing helpful equipment.

Occupational therapy shaped around everyday life

Occupational therapy can help when illness, injury, disability, ageing or a change in circumstances makes daily activities more difficult.

Drivenable OT Services provides assessments, recommendations and practical interventions based on each person’s goals.
